Where do my files go?
Most PDF and image tools process files on your device. Office, HTML and PDF/A conversions request a temporary upload to this site’s conversion server. AI tools send reviewed text to Groq only after your consent; see our privacy policy for provider retention. Favorites, recent tool names and workflow preferences are saved on this device; document contents and passwords are not saved by PaperLumo.
How large can my files be?
Most tools accept up to 50 MB total and 40 input files per task, with up to 500 PDF pages and 80 pages for image rendering. AI accepts one PDF up to 20 MB, 8 pages and 12000 extracted characters. Individual tools explain smaller limits. Smaller files work better on mobile.
Will every conversion preserve the original layout?
Each tool explains its limits. PDF-to-Word extracts editable text. PDF-to-PowerPoint offers page images or editable text boxes; editable mode omits graphics and original font styling. Raster conversion removes selectable text. Check the output before sharing.
What makes workflows different?
