About this resize image tool

Resize images to a maximum width while preserving aspect ratio. Smaller images are not enlarged. Output is WebP with adjustable quality.

When to use this tool

Reduce an oversized image to a maximum width while preserving its proportions.

Get started in three steps

  1. Choose your input files from your device.
  2. Enter your target maximum width in pixels. Height adjusts automatically.
  3. Select Resize image, review the result and download your file.

A practical example

Reduce a 2400-pixel-wide photo to a maximum width of 1200 pixels for a web page. Height follows the original proportions and the output is WebP.

Check the result

Verify the new width and format in the destination app. A source already narrower than the maximum is not enlarged; this control is not an exact width-and-height crop.

If the result is not right

For a portal requiring fixed photo dimensions and JPG, use Application Pack. Upscaling cannot recover missing detail, and this tool deliberately avoids enlarging small sources.

Can I enlarge a small image with this tool?

No. Smaller images are not enlarged. The output is WebP with adjustable quality; convert it to JPG or PNG if your destination requires another format.

Where is my document processed?
