About this create pdf forms tool

Create up to 100 standard AcroForm fields on unrotated PDF pages. Set each field name, page, position, size, type and required flag. Existing page content is retained; new fields use white backgrounds. XFA forms and signature fields are unsupported. Dropdown options currently support Latin text.

When to use this tool

Add standard text fields, checkboxes and dropdowns to an existing unrotated PDF.

Get started in three steps

  1. Choose your PDF file from your device.
  2. Add fields in blank areas, review their positions and download the PDF. Test it in a PDF reader or Fill PDF forms.
  3. Select Create PDF forms, review the result and download your file.

A practical example

Add a name text field, an agreement checkbox and a department dropdown to blank areas of an existing PDF. Give each field a distinct name and check its page and rectangle.

Check the result

Open the download in a form-capable reader and type into each field. Test saving and reopening a completed copy. White field backgrounds can cover artwork if positioned over existing text.

If the result is not right

If a field is misplaced, correct its coordinates in the authoring screen. Use unrotated pages. XFA and certificate signature fields are not supported, and dropdown choices currently use Latin text.
