How your photos are placed

Each image becomes one page with the same shape as the picture: a portrait phone photo makes a tall page and a screenshot of a wide table makes a wide one. Nothing is stretched or cropped. Very large photos are scaled down so the longest side is 1,600 points (about 56 cm), keeping the whole picture visible.

The pages are not A4. If a form or printer needs A4 or Letter, run Resize PDF on the result to place each page on that paper size. Text in a photo stays a picture, so it cannot be searched or copied until you run OCR.

How to convert JPG to PDF

  1. Select your images. JPG, PNG and WebP can be mixed, up to 40 files and 50 MB in total.
  2. Put them in reading order with the up and down arrows. The file order becomes the page order.
  3. Select JPG to PDF, download the PDF and check that every page is upright and readable.

A practical example

Photos of a three-page receipt, selected in reading order, become a three-page PDF. Check the order, orientation and legibility of each page; joining images does not make photographed text searchable.

Will images be stretched to fill a page?

Each image is fitted proportionally onto its own page. File order becomes page order. Review orientation and readability before sharing the PDF.

How do I make an A4 PDF from photos?

Convert the photos here first, then open the PDF in Resize PDF and choose A4. Each page is scaled to fit and centered, which may leave white margins around photos with a different shape.

Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?

HEIC files are not accepted. Save or export the photo as JPG or PNG first, then select it here.

Where is my document processed?
