About this compare pdf tool

Choose text comparison or visual page comparison. Text mode exports changed page text. Visual mode renders up to 20 pages per document, compares pixels and exports original, revised and red-highlighted images with a report. Pages are compared by index, without automatic alignment; layout shifts can create large differences.

When to use this tool

Review revised documents using changed text or highlighted pixel differences.

From file to finished in three steps

  2. Choose the original first and revised version second. Text mode needs selectable text; visual mode also works on scanned pages.

Before you download

Why can a small layout shift create many differences?

Visual comparison matches pages by index without automatic alignment. A shifted paragraph can change many pixels. Review the original and revised images alongside the report.

Where is my document processed?

Document processing runs in your browser. This tool does not upload your document for processing. Optional analytics measures page visits only after you allow it; it does not receive your document content. Read the privacy policy.
