About this sign pdf tool

Draw your signature, type your name or insert a signature image on a visual PDF canvas. Position and resize it on the selected page, then save the signed copy. This is a visible signature mark; it does not verify identity, request signatures from others or create a certificate-backed digital signature.

When to use this tool

Place a visible signature mark on a PDF and save a copy for review.

Get started in three steps

  1. Open your PDF and choose the page where the signature should appear. Read the document and the recipient requirements before adding a signature.
  2. Use Draw signature for handwriting, Add text for a typed name, or Add image for an existing signature image. Move and resize the mark on the page.
  3. Choose Save PDF, open the downloaded copy and check placement. Keep the unsigned original and send the result only when you are satisfied with it.

A practical example

To add your name and signature to a one-page acknowledgment, place the signature above the signature line and add the date separately as text. Check the saved copy at normal reading size to ensure neither overlaps the printed wording.

Before you download

Is this a certified digital signature?

No. Drawn, typed and image signatures are visual marks. This tool does not verify identity, issue certificates, collect signature requests or establish legal validity.

Is this a signature-font download or a handwritten-font generator?

No. Add text places a typed name in the PDF using the editor font; it does not offer a downloadable signature font or a calligraphy font collection. Use Draw signature for a handwritten mark or Add image for an existing signature image.

Does adding a signature prove who signed the PDF?

No. This tool creates a visible mark and does not verify identity or issue a certificate. Acceptance depends on the recipient and applicable requirements. If you already have a P12 or PFX signing certificate, use Certificate Sign PDF and review its trust and timestamp limitations.

Where is my document processed?

Document processing runs in your browser. This tool does not upload your document for processing. Optional analytics measures visits and tool events only after you allow it; it does not receive your document content or filenames. Read the privacy policy.
