About this watermark pdf tool

Apply text or a PNG/JPG image watermark on all or selected pages. Image watermarks preserve aspect ratio, with adjustable page-relative width and opacity. This visual mark does not encrypt the file or restrict copying.

When to use this tool

Label a draft or place a logo on selected pages before distributing a document.

Get started in three steps

A practical example

Mark a draft proposal with DRAFT, or apply a logo you have rights to use. Choose all pages or a page range and adjust the watermark size and opacity.

Check the result

Read the output at normal zoom and check that the mark does not obscure totals, signatures or small type. A watermark is visual; it does not stop copying or establish ownership.

If the result is not right

If a logo is distorted in the source, fix that image first; watermark sizing preserves its aspect ratio. Use a permitted PNG/JPG, and do not imply an endorsement or certification you do not have.

Does a watermark prevent copying?

No. A watermark is a visible mark, not encryption or access control. Use password protection when access needs restricting, and review watermark opacity for readability.

Where is my document processed?
