About this pdf challenge rooms tool

Generate and edit questions from up to 12 text pages with AI consent. Hosts create a 24-hour room for up to 100 guests. Answers are scored on the server and revealed after the round. Nicknames and scores are shared within the room. Casual practice, not identity-verified testing.

When to use this tool

Host a timed group quiz from reviewed PDF questions with server scoring and source explanations.

Get started in three steps

  1. Choose a text PDF, review extracted pages and consent to AI processing. Generate questions in English or Hindi.
  2. Edit questions, four answer options and explanations. Check every correct answer against its source quote. Set a round length from 1 to 60 minutes.
  3. Sign in to create a room, share the link or code and start the round. Guests join with nicknames; answers and results are revealed when the round ends.

A practical example

A reading group uploads its two-page workshop notes, reviews five questions and shares the room QR. The host starts a five-minute round. Participants submit once and then see their scores and source explanations.

Can guests see the answer key during the round?

The participant API hides correct options and explanations until the round ends. This is casual practice with self-declared nicknames, not a verified examination. Rooms expire after 24 hours.

Can participants see the correct answers before submitting?

The participant API omits correct options, explanations and source quotes while the room is live. Results are revealed when the host ends the round or its deadline passes. Hosts can see the answer key.

Do players need an account?

Only hosts need a PaperLumo account. Guests use nicknames and a session token kept in that browser tab. Closing the tab can lose their guest session. Rooms allow up to 100 players and expire after 24 hours.

Is this suitable for verified exams?

It is designed for casual group practice. Names are self-declared, questions are AI-assisted and the tool does not provide identity verification, proctoring or cheating prevention.

Where is my document processed?

Text extraction and exports run locally. Reviewed text is sent to Groq only after your confirmation. Free request limits apply. Optional analytics measures visits and tool events only after you allow it; it does not receive your document content or filenames. Read the privacy policy.
